Perfumes from this house
Est. 2008France
The fragrance house Mancera was launched in 2008 by French perfumer Pierre Montale. The brand is conceived as a cross-generational project: while Montale contributes his experience with oriental-inspired fragrance compositions, his daughter Amélie Montale has shaped the house’s visual and creative direction as artistic director since 2017. Mancera combines French perfumery tradition with influences from the Orient. Its signature lies in the interplay of opulent, warm and often sensual notes with a clear, modern aesthetic. The portfolio ranges from fresh citrus and aromatic compositions to floral and gourmand fragrances, as well as woody, vanilla-based, musky and oud-driven creations. As a result, Mancera appeals both to lovers of classic niche perfumery and to customers looking for distinctive, long-lasting yet accessible scents. The bottles also play an important role in the brand’s recognisability. Mancera uses a consistent, clean design language, while varying colours, patterns and materials according to each fragrance. The design is inspired by Art Deco, geometry and luxurious details, and is intended to visually reflect the character of the respective composition. Mancera fragrances are distributed through the official online shop as well as selected international retail partners, perfumeries and boutiques.
